Filings Bureau is a private filing service. We are not a law firm, do not provide legal advice, and do not represent you in legal proceedings. If you require legal advice, please consult a licensed attorney.
Not affiliated with government
Filings Bureau is an independent, privately operated business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any U.S. federal, state, or local government agency, court, or records office. The trade name “Filings Bureau” and any associated marks belong to the operating entity.
Our service
We prepare and submit state filings (annual reports, certificates of good standing, dissolutions, and similar documents) to the U.S. state agency you select. We act on the information you provide. State filing fees are paid to the state and are non-refundable once submitted. Our bureau fee covers preparation, submission, confirmation, and archival.
Your representations
You agree that the information you provide is true and accurate, and that you are authorised to file on behalf of the business named in your order. The bureau may decline or cancel any engagement at its discretion if information appears incomplete, inaccurate, or is being used to facilitate unlawful activity.
Refunds
See our Refund Policy. In short: if we cancel before submitting to the state, we refund both the state fee and the bureau fee. If the state rejects the filing for a reason within our control, we re-file at no additional bureau charge. State filing fees, once submitted to the state, are not refundable by us.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Filings Bureau’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of the bureau is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific order in the ninety days preceding the claim.
Amendment
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
